Whenever you introduce something new to a community, there are always a lot of questions and concerns that need to be addressed. The tiny house village model of addressing homelessness has been working successfully in many cities across the nation. As we have planned Circle City Village, we have researched different villages around the nation to understand the best practices in building and supporting a village. We have also spent countless hours discussing how we can best apply that research to Indianapolis. In this section, you will find much of the research that has gone into developing our plan.
We have been compiling a list of the most common questions we hear about this project as we talk with neighbors and engage with comments on news stories. We will keep updating this page. If there is a question you would like to see us address, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The tiny house village concept for addressing homelessness is an idea that has been working in other settings for nearly a decade. On this page you will find a library of videos that tell the story of other villages that have been successful. We will be updating this page from time to time. So, check back.
